Dieser Beschluss zur Gründung des Chapter-Komitees wurde am 4. Februar 2006 einstimmig angenommen. Das Chapter-Komitee wurde ursprünglich durch Beschluss:Chapter-Komitee genehmigt.

Hiermit wird beschlossen, dass:

1. Das Kuratorium die Einrichtung eines Komitees für die Chapter-Koordinierung genehmigt, wie auf der Seite Chapter-Komitee im internen Wiki beschrieben.
2. The Chapters Committee will be initially composed of the following people, referred to as "members":
   • Austin Hair
   • Hari Prasad Nadig
   • Nathan Carter
   • Łukasz Garczewski
   • Delphine Ménard
3. And of the following people, referred to as "advisors"
   • Andrew Lih
   • Arne Klempert

1. The Committee will meet on a regular basis to be determined at its first meeting.
2. The Head of the Committee will be appointed by the members of the committee at its first meeting
3. The Chapters committee is invited to add new members to the original group listed above, to be approved by the board at next report.

1. The Chapters committee will report to the board as planned on February 11th (see: Chapters committee resolution). The report will feature the committees rules of procedure, new members, Head of committee and proposed area of delegation.

All Board members voted in favor by 4 February 2006.
