{{cquote|What does Wikipedia mean to me?... A lot. So much that my words fail me; I feel like my English isn't good enough to express my feelings. Putting aside the fact that I've used it countless times to find material for both my (many) hobbies and my university studies, sometimes even losing myself in an ocean of fascinating information, Wikipedia represents for me the human struggle to surpass our limitations... by starting from the limitations of our knowledge, which is the basis of everything that actually makes us human.

Wikipedia has changed my perception of the world. Not because of its stunning wealth of information; no, that's also available elsewhere (although not in such an organized form). Because it showed me that human beings are capable of putting aside their differences and cooperating in a project of huge scale, in order to make scientific knowledge (a collective achievement of the whole mankind) FREELY and OPENLY available to everyone in the world.

Knowledge should always be open and free; I cannot see how any true scientist would ever think otherwise. It may sometimes be physically impossible, but Wikipedia helps to overcome these physical limits.

I've considered contributing as an editor, but I have no real area of expertise (yet), so I've only done very minor edits (typos etc.) To all those that struggle everyday trying to further improve Wikipedia I only want to say: Keep up the good work!}}
