Just 20 or so years ago, to get the information i needed to function as a thinking human being i had to travel by car and then airplane to reach the nearest university library, a process which took days and cost hundreds of dollars. |

Now with WIki and it's equivalents this can all be done instantly at a touch of a button from my armchair at home! Who in his wildest dreams would have thought this possible!? |
