This policy is maintained by the Wikimedia Foundation and applies to Foundation activities, including events it hosts and events it funds or supports with other resources. Per Resolution by the Foundation’s Board, the Universal Code of Conduct (UCoC) applies to all Wikimedia projects and spaces. The Friendly Spaces policy makes transparent the Foundation’s approach to providing safe spaces at all its venues and events – such as conferences, virtual events, and related social events – in upholding the UCoC.
