Hello there,

I'm a member of the ombudsman commission and an active user of nlwiki since early 2006.

I think it's very important to make new users feel at home. Sometimes we tend to forget that we all started out as novices; and that we too had to climb up an ivory tower . And with that we can easily lose our temper and respond in a less civil way as we should. With a little empathy we can get a long way.

It's bound to happen that I make mistakes, I'd appreciate it if you let me know on my talk page.

Some background info
I'm a student business administration at the VU University in Amsterdam. I'm left-handed, gay, try to work out two or three times a week, write code in different .NET languages, and am a huge fan of different television series.
