(It would be awesome if you could sync the translation page on Meta-Wiki with the wmfwiki page when you're done, though.) This wiki does not exactly follow the same rules as the other Wikimedia projects, since it is not open to all for editing, and in case of disagreement, the organ of decision will be the Board. - You don't have to use that page, no. If your edits are non-controversial cleanup, maintenance, etc., feel free to make the changes directly here. (It would be awesome if you could sync the translation page on Meta-Wiki with the wmfwiki page when you're done, though.) You really only need to edit on Meta-Wiki first if it's something controversial or that needs discussion, or if it's translation, which you're not doing. ;-) I hope that clears it up a little bit, and welcome!
