Things to be changed for Phase I:

1. Enable wiki-specific site notices for other wiki projects. i.e. The site notice for Wikibooks would read "Wikibooks is a non-profit project: Donate today." Need to customize site templates. (Brion)
2. http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Fundraising_2008/design_drafts#Current_state_of_banner_.26_future_plans Need to design smaller site notice, no button, but with donate link. (Brion/Tomasz)
3. Translation of non-Core pages to more languages. (Cary/Naoko)
4. Re-launch the donations page with the Chapter related giving options (http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Donate/Now/de#newtop). Pending chapter agreements in place. (Rand)

Phase 2 (starting 11/10):

1. Improving contribution statistics & sharing anonymized contribution data with the community. (Trevor) I'll be meeting with Trevor this week to discuss changes and updates. Median/Data bars/breakdown. Rand Montoya 23:54, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
2. Stat analysis of the different site notices. (Tomasz)
3. Set minimum donation script for $1 (or equivalent). (Trevor)
4. Next set of 3 or 4 site notices. (Rand/Jay)
5. Rupees and shekel (new Israeli currency, ILS) as a currency. (Tomasz for ILS, Rand for Rupee)
6. Re-work the Stories page for translating. (Cary/Naoko)
7. Live Comments upgrades: Brion's pushpin tag? Sending via email? The Map of AwesomeFireGoodness? (Tabled until 11/24.)
8. Revise/highlight chapter link layout-need to make it more prominent. Need to encourage chapters to help reword the chapter text language. (Rand)
9. Evaluate tracking data of site notices. (Tomasz)
10. Critical overall changes to re-encourage donations. (Rand/Jay)

Old Fixes:

1. Enable the thank you pages for donors after they get returned from Paypal (http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Donate/Thank_You/en) for every language.

21. Thank you page (refer back from Paypal) needs to go to the 'Show support' page.
    • "language" parameter for Donate/Support/xx appropriate to each language should be added to the donate pages. --Brion VIBBER 23:10, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
      • We need to create a Thank you page, similar to the Show Support page that already exists, and add the following text: "Thank you for supporting Wikipedia. You will receive an email confirmation and a tax receipt for your donation shortly." A sample is on the dev.site: http://dev.donate.wikimedia.org/index.php/Donate/Thankyou/en.
        • Page is built; we need to localize it and have donations point to that after Paypal.
