About me
I'm a member of the Wikimedia Foundation Communications team. I'm passionate about supporting the Wikimedia mission to make free knowledge available to all and sharing stories about the Wikimedia movement.
I have a background in tech communications, digital media, and storytelling. Before joining the Wikimedia Foundation, I worked as a communications manager at GoodData, a data and analytics start-up in San Francisco. Prior to GoodData I held a number of roles at the Horn Group, a tech communications agency, and contributed to Forbes.com. I have also worked at Forbes Media, where I supported the President and CEO and worked as a market research analyst.
I received my Bachelors of Arts from Wellesley College in Massachusetts, where I graduated with honors and degree in International Relations and French. A love of learning and knowledge has always guided my life, and I feel privileged to serve a community that embodies that sentiment!
My work
As a communications generalist, I wear many different hats in the WMF Communications team. I respond to press inquiries, support and drive special projects, help raise awareness of new WMF-developed products, and more. I see collaboration with community members as a critical part of our storytelling efforts, and I am always looking for new ways to collaborate with the broader movement!
