::::@[[User:Pppery|Pppery]]: I have confirmed that these are not really used for translated pages at this time. As such, I have disabled translation of page titles on pages with a displaytitle set. Thank you for the initial ping! --[[User:GVarnum-WMF|Gregory Varnum (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him]]] ([[User talk:GVarnum-WMF|talk]]) 23:19, 10 April 2024 (UTC) |

10-day notice requirement
- "Disclosures of Nonpublic Personal Data are limited to ... law enforcement, in cases where there is an immediate and credible threat of serious bodily harm ..."
- "... if they are required by law to disclose to law enforcement, administrative bodies, or other governmental agencies, they must secure written approval from the Wikimedia Foundation by emailing check-disclosurewikimedia.org an explanation of the proposed disclosure at least ten (10) business days prior to such anticipated disclosure ..."
@WMF Legal, @Slaporte (WMF), the second line seems to contradict the first. If there is an immediate and credible threat, waiting 10 days to disclose to law enforcement sounds like, well, a bad idea. Requiring people to wait 10 days sounds like a really bad idea. Please review. Thanks, Levivich (talk) 19:51, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

Could "Allow translation of page display title" please be turned off in the translation settings? Since the actual display title has its own tunit it's redundant and wasteful. Thanks. Pppery (talk) 16:47, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Pppery: I had been leaving it on as I had been told (but have not had a chance to verify) that it has an impact on search results. I can look into this more, but do you happen to know? --Gregory Varnum (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him] (talk) 20:12, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
